Terms and Conditions for Zapo

1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading, registering, or using the Zapo customer application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our platform to book services.

2. The Zapo Platform Zapo operates as a technology platform that connects customers seeking home and professional services with independent service providers ("Zapo Professionals"). Zapo does not directly provide the services, nor are the Professionals employees of Zapo. We act strictly as an intermediary to facilitate booking and payment.

3. Eligibility and Accounts To use the Zapo App, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your name, address, and payment details.

• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Booking, Payments, and Fees

• Payments: All payments for services must be made securely through the App. You authorize Zapo to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of the booked service, including any applicable taxes or platform fees.

• No Off-Platform Cash Payments: To ensure your safety, guarantee the service, and protect platform integrity, you agree not to pay Zapo Professionals in cash or arrange side deals outside of the App.

• Cancellations: You may cancel a booking through the App. Depending on how close the cancellation is to the scheduled service time, a cancellation fee may apply to compensate the Professional for their reserved time.

5. User Conduct and Safety As a customer, you agree to:

• Treat all Zapo Professionals with respect and professionalism.

• Provide a safe, hazard-free environment for the Professional to perform the requested service.

• Ensure that any pets or potential hazards are secured away from the work area. Zapo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if a Professional reports harassment, unsafe working conditions, or fraudulent behavior.

6. Limitation of Liability Zapo provides the App "as is." While we conduct identity checks on Professionals, we do not guarantee the quality, suitability, or safety of the services provided. Zapo is not liable for any property damage, personal injury, or disputes arising directly from the fulfillment of a service. Any claims must be directed to the independent Professional, though our Support Team will assist in mediating disputes.

7. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is performed.
